The America diet consists of processed snacks, junk food, a lot of red meat, and rarely any vegetables and fruits, making it one of the worst ways to live, followed by years of debilitating disease and sickness.
This type of diet is not out of the ordinary. It’s estimated that upwards of 50% of the population engages in unhealthy food choices, and it’s not getting any better.
While we now know that eating all of this food every day is not good for us, it continues to be a problem, as obesity rates are spiraling out of control, and we’re seeing younger crowds suffering from heart attacks and other problems that typically associate with older people.
It’s time to stop eating the American diet, and start eating a healthy and fruitful diet that your body can actually benefit from.
Stop Your Sugar Intake Now
Think about what you eat in a given day. Does it consist of a soda with every meal? Do you eat a lot of candy and ice cream? Maybe you follow every meal with a dessert? These are your problems right here, and you’re only hurting yourself by doing this.
By taking in so much sugar, your body doesn’t know what to do with it all. You get a sugar rush initially, and then when your body can’t handle anymore, the rest turns into fat.
It’s no wonder why fat people are always eating sugar all the time, and it adds up to an obese nation.
Watch Your Nutrition Labels
These labels on the side of food are not just there for show, they’re there to help you manage your nutrition and limit your caloric intake. When you’re not watching your calories, it’s easy to lose track of them and eat way too many of them.
When you eat too many calories, your body turns them into fat. It’s why people who eat 3,000 calories instead of 2,000 often see outrageous weight gain, and it rarely slows down.
On top of that, these people never work out, so those extra calories don’t go anywhere.
Try Being Active
If you’re a fat kid or a fat adult, the same still applies. Did you know that being active just 3 hours per week is enough to keep you in good shape? It’s true. This requires little to no effort on your part, either.
You could even try joining a sports team that doesn’t take itself seriously. It’s fun, engaging, and you lose calories this way.
Just something to think about.
Stay healthy out there, and make good choices!
